Chi Omega
For nearly 25 years the Nu Lambda chapter of Chi Omega has flourished at UNC Wilmington. Every Sister is unique and prides herself by the founding philosophy and purposes of Chi Omega established by our founders over 100 years ago. Chi Omegas live by our six purposes: Community Service, Campus Activities, Career Development, Scholarship, Friendship and High Standards of Personnel.
Friendship
The central principle, upon which all others are built. It is the spirit of love, and fun, and family; the security that comes from knowing that there will be sisters who will accept you for who you are throughout your life.
Community Service
The philanthropic activities that contribute to your community's welfare. Chi Omega works every year to support Make-A-Wish Foundation. Each chapter also selects its own activities and organizations to volunteer within their own local community.
Scholarship
The ultimate reason for attending college. Chi Omega helps you obtain the finest education possible through academic incentive programs, tutoring, and scholarships from the Chi Omega Foundation.
Campus Activities

Career & Personal Development
The preparation for life after college. Chi Omega's network, is our way of linking, assisting, and contacting members who are moving, changing careers, or just need a friend In a new city or town.
High Standards of Personnel
